She didn’t expect to fall into it.

But she did — again and again — and it destroyed her.

She was emotionally, verbally, physically, and sexually

abused in different relationships over the years.

Manipulated. Silenced. Erased.

Expected to keep showing up, smiling, functioning —

all while carrying trauma alone.

This book isn’t her story.

It’s the truth she never got to say when it was happening.

It’s the pain she carried in silence.

The reality of what abuse actually feels like — and what it really takes to survive it.

She created Down the Rabbit Hole because no one warned her how lonely it would be.

No one handed her a book that made her feel understood.

No one showed her what healing actually looks like — the rage, the spirals, the shut downs, the shame, the days you barely make it out of bed.

And that kind of isolation almost killed her.

So now? She writes, she speaks, and she shares the truth — not to inspire, but to make sure no one else feels as alone as she did.
